ORDINANCE NO. 2189 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON FOR <br /> REZONING, AS FILED UNDER CASE P19-0023 FOR THE PROPERTY <br /> LOCATED AT 4363 AND 4377 FIRST STREET <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to change the zoning of 4363 and <br /> 4377 First Street from "C-C (Central Commercial), Downtown Revitalization, Core Area <br /> Overlay District" to "Public and Institutional, Downtown Revitalization, Core Area Overlay <br /> District;" and <br /> WHEREAS, at its public hearing on February 27, 2019, the Planning Commission <br /> adopted Resolution 2019-03, determining that the proposed rezoning is appropriate for <br /> the site, making findings, and recommending to the Pleasanton City Council that P19- <br /> 0023 be approved; and <br /> WHEREAS, on March 19, 2019, the City Council held a duly noticed public <br /> hearing on this application and considered all public testimony, agenda reports, and <br /> related materials, and the recommendations of City staff and the Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed rezoning has no possibility to have a significant effect <br /> on the environment and is therefore exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act <br /> per Title 14 California Code of Regulations §15061(b)(3); and <br /> WHEREAS, the Pleasanton City Council finds that the proposed rezoning is <br /> consistent with the City's General Plan and Downtown Specific Plan. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1. Approves the rezoning of 4363 and 4377 First Street from "C-C <br /> (Central Commercial), Downtown Revitalization, Core Area Overlay District" to "Public <br /> and Institutional, Downtown Revitalization, Core Area Overlay District." <br /> SECTION 2. The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton, on file with the City Clerk, <br /> designating and dividing the City into zoning districts, is hereby amended to Zoning Unit <br /> Map No. 502, attached hereto as Exhibit A, dated March 19, 2019, and incorporated <br /> herein by this reference. <br /> SECTION 3. A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within fifteen <br /> (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley Times", a newspaper of general circulation <br /> published in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete ordinance shall be posted for fifteen <br /> (15) days in the City Clerk's Office within fifteen (15) days after its adoption. <br />
