7. Accepted public improvements performed by Ponderosa Homes II, Inc. for Tract 8257 located at <br /> 3430, 3440, and 3450 Cornerstone Court and authorized the City Clerk to file a notice of completion <br /> 8. Approved the transfer of $28,600 from the current Annual Slurry Seal Project, CIP No. 18404 and <br /> $13,630 from City Parking Lots - Resurfacing Project, CIP No. 17424 to the previous Annual Slurry <br /> Seal Project, CIP No. 16504, and increased the Director of Engineering authorization to approve <br /> and execute contract change orders by an additional $35,213 for a total not to exceed $85,213 <br /> 9. Approved an allocation of$220,000 from Fund 518 to the Recycled Water Infrastructure Expansion <br /> Phase 1A - Ken Mercer Sports Park Booster Station Project, CIP No. 14126, and authorize the <br /> Director of Engineering to approve and execute change orders to the contract with GSE <br /> Construction Company, Inc., not to exceed $220,000 to install seven debris strainers in the recycled <br /> water park irrigation system piping <br /> Finance <br /> 10. Accepted the Single Audit report for fiscal year ending June 30, 2018 <br /> Fire <br /> 11. Adopted and waived full reading Resolution No. Resolution No. 19-1069 declaring weeds, dirt, <br /> rubbish, and refuse upon or in front of certain described properties within the city constitute public <br /> nuisances and that they be abated, and setting April 16, 2019 as the public hearing regarding the <br /> abatement <br /> Library and Recreation <br /> 12. Approved and authorized the City Manager to execute an agreement for umpire services with <br /> Mission Valley Sports Officials, Inc. in the amount of$227,500 <br /> Operations Services <br /> 13. Approved and authorized the City Manager to execute an agreement with Vista Universal not to <br /> exceed $440,000 for city-wide street, pathway, and parking lot lights maintenance <br /> MOTION: It was m/s by Pentin/Brown to approve the consent calendar as submitted, and as noted. <br /> Motion passed by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Brown, Pentin, Testa, Mayor Thorne <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: Councilmember Narum <br /> MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> 14. Presentation of a proclamation declaring March 2019 American Red Cross Month <br /> Councilmember Brown read and presented a proclamation declaring March 2019 as American Red <br /> Cross Month. <br /> Ms. Peterson thanked the City and City Council for the recognition and for partnering with the Red <br /> Cross to better-prepare residents of Pleasanton for a disaster/emergency.
