The committee reviews and prioritizes potential <br /> projects, provides input on policies related to bikeways and trails, and promotes community <br /> education and awareness regarding non-motorized forms of transportation. <br /> Meeting Time: Fourth Monday of each month at 6:45 p.m. <br /> Meeting Location: Pleasanton Senior Center, 5353 Sunol Blvd., Pleasanton <br /> Representative: Commissioner Ritter <br /> Alternate: Commissioners Allen and Brown <br /> Civic Arts Commission <br /> Promote the acquisition, construction and installment of works of public art in Pleasanton. <br /> Make recommendations to the City Council regarding the City Civic Arts Program. <br /> Meeting Time: First Monday of each month at 7 p.m. <br /> Meeting Location: City Council Chamber, 200 Old Bernal Ave., Pleasanton <br /> Staff Contact: Michele Crose, Community Services Manager, 931-5347 <br /> Downtown Specific Plan Update Task Force <br /> The Downtown Specific Plan (DSP), adopted in 2002, serves as a guide for the future <br /> development and preservation of the Downtown area and address issues such as land use, <br /> transportation, parking, historic preservation, design and beautification, and economic vitality. <br /> The key objective for the DSP update is to complete a comprehensive update of the plan to <br /> better reflect community priorities and incorporate more recent downtown land use and policy <br /> changes. In addition, the DSP Task Force will evaluate and provide recommendations for land <br /> uses on the existing civic center site in coordination with the Civic Center Master Plan. <br /> Meeting Time: Fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. <br /> Meeting Location: City Council Chamber, 200 Old Bernal Ave., Pleasanton <br /> Representatives: Commissioners Brown and Ritter <br /> Alternate: Commissioner Allen <br /> Economic Vitality Committee <br /> Assess the current and ongoing business climate in the City of Pleasanton and offer <br /> suggestions and recommendations to the City Council intended to maintain a strong economic <br /> development base in the City. <br /> Meeting Time: Third Thursday of each month at 7:30 a.m. <br /> Meeting Location: Remillard Conference Room, 3333 Busch Rd., Pleasanton <br /> Staff Contact: Pamela Ott, Director of Economic Development, 931-5040 <br /> Committee, Commission, and Task Force List Page 1 of 2 April 24, 2019 <br />
