Lions Wayside/Delucchi <br />Park Master Plan — <br />Commission and City Council in late Spring and/or early <br />Summer 2019. <br />City of Pleasanton <br />Eric Luchini <br />Transportation/Traffic Project <br />Permitting <br />Development of final design and construction documents for the parks master plan is <br />pending state and federal permitting to underground the "channel" at Lions Wayside <br />Park. City staff met with the permitting agencies in April 2016 and are currently <br />developing options for the park improvements that do not require undergrounding of the <br />channel due to the regulatory agencies' position that it will not be allowed. <br />• Status <br />Under Review <br />• Next Steps/Details: <br />At the January 2019 meeting of the Parks and Recreation <br />Commission, three potential designs were presented for <br />discussion and review. Commissioners discussed the <br />various advantages and disadvantages of each design, and <br />proposed changes to two of the designs for further <br />refinement and study. Proposed designs are tentatively <br />scheduled to be brought back to the Parks and <br />Commission for review and discussion in March. Bicycle and Pedestrian Transportation/Traffic Project <br />Master Plan High Priority <br />Corridor <br />The Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan, created in January 2010 was updated and <br />adopted by City Council in June 2017. The update created an "All users and abilities" <br />approach to facility design and provided a corridor construction priority. West Las <br />Positas Boulevard was identified as the highest priority corridor and design is underway <br />to develop bicycle and pedestrian improvements along the corridor. <br />• Status Under Review <br />• Next Steps/Details: Staff awarded the design of the West Las Positas <br />Improvements in June of 2018 to Toole Design Group. A <br />kickoff meeting was held in August of 2018. Walk Audits <br />were completed in October 2018. Community engagement <br />will begin in early 20019.
