The City prefers small wireless <br /> facilities to be installed on support structures in the public rights-of-way, ordered <br /> from most preferred to least preferred, as follows: <br /> (1) existing or replacement metal or composite streetlight or utility poles; <br /> (2) new, non-replacement metal or composite streetlight poles; <br /> (3) new, non-replacement poles for small wireless facilities; <br /> (4) existing or replacement wood utility or streetlight poles. <br /> (e) Support Structures Outside the Public Rights-of-Way. The City prefers small <br /> wireless facilities to be installed on support structures outside the public rights-of- <br /> way, ordered from most preferred to least preferred, as follows: <br /> (1) Existing, non-historic buildings, or other non-tower structures previously <br /> approved for use as a support structure for personal wireless service facilities; <br /> (2) other existing non-historic buildings or non-tower structures; <br /> (3) existing or replacement utility poles or towers; <br /> (4) new, non-replacement towers for small wireless facilities; <br /> (5) existing historic buildings. <br /> {00032392;5} page 20 /28 <br />designations; <br /> (10) within the Downtown Specific Plan Area, on or along Main Street. <br /> (c) Locations Outside the Public Rights-of-Way.
