THE CITY OF 16 <br /> "' -r CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLEASANTON <br /> April 16, 2019 <br /> Library and Recreation <br /> TITLE: ADOPT A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE FOR <br /> PLEASANTON PIONEER CEMETERY <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The fees for the Pleasanton Pioneer Cemetery (Cemetery) are reviewed annually and <br /> adjusted administratively to reflect increases in the Consumer Price Index (CPI). During <br /> this year's assessment, staff identified that some of these fees needed to be adjusted <br /> separate of the CPI due to costs for service and unmet needs in the community. The <br /> proposed new fee schedule addresses both of these issues. <br /> PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION <br /> Recommend that City Council adopt a resolution amending the master fee schedule for <br /> Pleasanton Pioneer Cemetery. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Adopt a resolution amending the master fee schedule for Pleasanton Pioneer <br /> Cemetery. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The proposed updates to the fee schedule off-set actual costs, including the price of <br /> maintenance and burial contracts, and are not anticipated to have a significant financial <br /> impact on the City budget. The City's General Fund provides a subsidy to the Cemetery <br /> Fund. Cemetery revenues and expenditures are allocated in accounts 40150220- <br /> 430101 and 40250222-430101 . <br />
