Fuel Station Canopy: The new fuel station canopy would have a yellow-, white-, and red—colored fascia (Shell brand colors) with a dark brown colored composition shingle roof. Red-colored light bands would be mounted on the fascia. The canopy columns would be tan-colored stucco with stone veneer at the bottom, matching the 7-Eleven store building. The four existing unleaded fuel pumps would be removed and replaced and two diesel pumps would be added. The canopy would measure approximately 20 feet 8 inches in height from the grade to the top the mansard roof. Trash Enclosure: The proposed trash enclosure would be a freestanding structure located between the car wash and the 7-Eleven store, as reflected in the site plan in Exhibit B. Staff notes that some of the plan sheets show the trash enclosure attached to the front (east) of the car wash building, which was the applicant's initial proposal, and which was revised based on staff input. This inconsistency will be corrected in future submittals. Figures 6-8 show the proposed building elevations and Figures 9-10 show renderings of the proposed development. The drive-through car wash would be a "self-serve" car wash without attendants. The driver would remain inside the vehicle as the vehicle is being washed, rinsed, and air dried. The car wash would have two roll-up doors: one on the south elevation (entrance) and on the north elevation (exit). The car wash doors would remain open during the car wash hours and would be closed after hours.
