CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br /> February 19, 2019 <br /> SPECIAL MEETING <br /> Mayor Thorne called the special meeting to order at the hour of 6:30 p.m. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Brown, Narum, Pentin, Testa, Mayor Thorne <br /> Absent: None <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT — None <br /> ADJOURN TO CLOSED SESSION FOR THE FOLLOWING: <br /> CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATORS pursuant to Government Code §54957.6: <br /> Agency representatives: Nelson Fialho, Debra Gill and Bruce Heid <br /> Employee organizations: Pleasanton City Employees' Association <br /> ADJOURNMENT—The special meeting adjourned at 6:50 p.m. <br /> REGULAR MEETING <br /> Mayor Thorne called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. Students <br /> from Walnut Grove Elementary led the Pledge of Allegiance. Councilmember Pentin provided opening <br /> remarks. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Brown, Narum, Pentin, Testa, Mayor Thorne <br /> Absent: None <br /> CLOSED SESSION REPORT <br /> City Attorney Sodergren advised that no reportable action was taken in closed session. <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS - None <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> City Attorney <br /> 1. Approved and authorized the City Manager to execute fourth amendment to professional services <br /> agreement with Jarvis, Fay & Gibson in the amount of$100,000 for legal services and payment to <br /> Environmental Science Associates for the Johnson Drive Economic Development Zone <br /> supplemental environmental study; increases in the professional services budget by $200,000 <br /> and the reimbursement revenue budget by $100,000; and the reduction of general fund <br /> contingency by $100,000 <br /> City Manager <br /> 2. Approved meeting minutes of February 5, 2019 <br />
