ATTACHMENT 2 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON FOR REZONING, <br /> AS FILED UNDER CASE P19-0023 FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4363 AND <br /> 4377 FIRST STREET <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to change the zoning of 4363 and <br /> 4377 First Street from "C-C (Central Commercial), Downtown Revitalization, Core Area Overlay <br /> District" to "Public and Institutional, Downtown Revitalization, Core Area Overlay District;" and <br /> WHEREAS, at its public hearing on February 27, 2019, the Planning Commission <br /> adopted Resolution 2019-03, determining that the proposed rezoning is appropriate for the site, <br /> making findings, and recommending to the Pleasanton City Council that P19-0023 be approved; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, on March 19, 2019, the City Council held a duly noticed public hearing on <br /> this application and considered all public testimony, agenda reports, and related materials, and <br /> the recommendations of City staff and the Planning Commission; and <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed rezoning has no possibility to have a significant effect on <br /> the environment and is therefore exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act per Title <br /> 14 California Code of Regulations §15061(b)(3); and <br /> WHEREAS, the Pleasanton City Council finds that the proposed rezoning is consistent <br /> with the City's General Plan and Downtown Specific Plan. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br /> HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. Approves the rezoning of 4363 and 4377 First Street from "C-C (Central <br /> Commercial), Downtown Revitalization, Core Area Overlay District" to "Public and Institutional, <br /> Downtown Revitalization, Core Area Overlay District." <br /> Section 2. The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton, on file with the City Clerk, <br /> designating and dividing the City into zoning districts, is hereby amended to Zoning Unit Map <br /> No. _, attached hereto as Exhibit A, dated March 19, 2019, and incorporated herein by this <br /> reference. <br /> Section 3. A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) <br /> days after its adoption in "The Valley Times", a newspaper of general circulation published in <br /> the City of Pleasanton, and the complete ordinance shall be posted for fifteen (15) days in the <br /> City Clerk's Office within fifteen (15) days after its adoption. <br /> Section 4. This ordinance shall be effective 30 days after its passage and adoption. <br />
