For all service retirements the formula accelerates beginning with 10 years of <br /> service as illustrated below: <br /> Years of Service City's Contribution <br /> 10 75% <br /> 15 80% <br /> 20 90% <br /> 25+ years of service 100% <br /> In accordance with the Public Employees' Pension Reform Act of 2013 <br /> (PEPRA), employees hired on/after January 1, 2013 and considered "new <br /> members" by CaIPERS will have a vesting schedule equal to the vesting <br /> schedule of miscellaneous employees. <br /> 2.
