CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br /> December 11, 2018 <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Thorne called the adjourned regular meeting of the City Council to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Brown, Narum, Olson, Pentin, Mayor Thorne <br /> Absent: None <br /> CONSENT ITEM <br /> 1. Adopt a resolution declaring the results of the November 6, 2018 General Municipal Election <br /> MOTION: It was m/s Pentin/Brown to adopt and waived full reading of Resolution No. 18-1057 <br /> reciting the facts of the General Municipal Election held on November 6, 2018, declaring the results <br /> and such other matters as provided by law. Motion passed by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Brown, Narum, Pentin, Testa, Mayor Thorne <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> Senator Steve Glazer presented Councilmember Olson with a proclamation from the California State <br /> Senate commending him for service on the City Council. <br /> REMARKS BY OUTGOING COUNCILMEMBER OLSON <br /> Councilmember Olson reflected on the major accomplishments he as part of the City Council has <br /> completed and implemented during his four year tenure, and wished the new Council with continued <br /> success in its endeavors. <br /> OATHS OF OFFICE <br /> Mayor-elect Jerry Thorne: Alameda County Superior Court Judge Steve Pulido administered the oath of <br /> office. <br /> Councilmember-elect Kathy Narum: California State Senator Steve Glazer administered the oath the <br /> office. <br /> Councilmember-elect Julie Testa: Former Pleasanton Mayor Tom Pico administered the oath of office. <br /> REMARKS <br /> Mayor Thorne <br /> Councilmember Narum <br /> Councilmember Testa <br /> ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:35 p.m. <br /> Respectf y s emitted, <br /> 1111. <br /> _r- Si_ • <br /> City Cle <br />
