THE CITY OF <br /> 8 <br /> �.a <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLEASANTON1( <br /> January 15, 2019 <br /> Operations Services <br /> TITLE: APPROVE PURCHASE OF A 2019 PETERBILT PATCH TRUCK FOR <br /> STREET MAINTENANCE <br /> SUMMARY <br /> Staff is requesting to purchase a replacement patch truck that is used to perform routine <br /> street maintenance such as skin patching, pothole repairs, utility cuts and other asphalt <br /> repairs. <br /> Included in the Repair and Replacement Plan, the patch truck is scheduled for <br /> replacement this fiscal year. The purchase would be executed through a Sourcewell <br /> (formerly NJPA) cooperative purchasing contract. Council authorized funding for a <br /> replacement patch truck as part of its adoption of the FY2018/19 budget <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Approve the purchase of a patch truck through the Sourcewell (formerly National Joint <br /> Powers Alliance) (NJPA) cooperative purchasing contract for $237,923.81. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> A total of$338,000 is budgeted in the Repair and Replacement Plan budget to <br /> purchase the patch truck. <br />
