The Fire Chief may assign such employees to a forty (40) hour workweek <br /> schedule so that the employee may attend training courses, conferences and/or meetings. <br /> 6.1.1 Work Schedule for Fire Prevention Personnel <br /> The normal work schedule for Local 1974 represented fire prevention positions is a Monday <br /> through Friday, 40 hour work week consisting of five consecutive eight hour days or 80 hours in <br /> a pay period. This is the same basic schedule used by the partner cities for normal office hour <br /> positions. The City payroll departments will determine the "work period" to be used under <br /> FLSA. Holidays will be per the holiday schedule set forth elsewhere in the MOU. <br /> 6.1.2 Alternative Work Schedules for Fire Prevention Personnel <br /> The partner cities and the LPFD caw offer Cid employees, including Fire Prevention personnel, <br /> Fire Prevention personnel may be offered alternative work schedules. Such work schedules may <br /> be a "9/80";or "4/10" schedule or flexible start and end times, lunch periods or days off of the <br /> wo .
