JKAARCHITECTURE October 15, 2018 Steve Kirkpatrick City Engineer City of Pleasanton 123 Main Street Pleasanton, California 94566 RE: Architectural Services— Pleasanton Library Remodel Dear Steve, Now that the schematic design proposed has been accepted, I am pleased to offer this proposal for construction document and construction administration services for the design of the Pleasanton Library Remodel project. This proposal is based on the approved schematic design and includes Design Development, Construction Documents, Bidding and Construction Administration services. It is assumed that the project will be developed using a standard design-bid-build approach. I have based this proposal on the preliminary requirement to design the project for the modifications to the existing office areas to create usable office space for the combined Library/Community Services department. The scope will include a roughly 2,500 SF remodel of the existing library admin space to accommodate the new office needs. The estimated construction budget for the project is approximately$1,200,000 and will be further refined as the design develops. Please note that this proposal is based on the scope of services that we believe is necessary to successfully complete this project. If there are scope items that are not included, or that are not necessary, we would be pleased to adjust the scope and fee to meet your needs.
