!i CITY OOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON i~ ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA !i ORDINANCE NO. 684 i ZONING UNIT NO. 129, AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE ti CITY OF PLEASANTON, AND AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2 i~ OF TITLE II OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF ~ PLEASANTON REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM THE R-1-6500 ~i (SINGLE FAMILY) DISTRICT TO THE "S" (STUDY) DISTRICT ii FOR A SPECIFIED PERIOD OF TIME. !]THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS i!FOLLOWS: i~ I. !f The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton, dated April 18, ~1960, referred to in ~2-12.12, Chapter 2 of Title II of the Ordi- ~inance Code of the City of Pleasanton, designating and dividing the l~City of Pleasanton into Zoning Districts, is hereby amended as ~ifollows: ~ Zoning Unit No. 129, as shown on the map dated November 13 !i 1972, on file with the City Clerk, copies of which are ~ attached hereto as Exhibit "A", and made a part hereof, i! shall designate the land use and zoning district of the i~ territory referred to therein. Said territory and zoning classification as amended are iifurther described as follows: !~ Real property owned by Singer Housing Company totaling !~ approximately 28 acres in size and located within the ~{ area covered by Tracts #3311 and #3312, located easterly ~ and southerly respectively, of the Valley Community i! Services District sewage treatment plant, is classified in the "S" (Study) District for a period not to exceed 90 days or until as a result of land use studies permanent zoning is affixed thereto, whichever is earlier. III. This ordinance shall be published once within 15 days !iafter its adoption in "THE TIMES", a newspaper of general circula- i~tion published in the City of Pleasanton, and shall be in force i~immediately upon its adoption as an urgency interim zoning ordi- !inance pursuant to ~65858 of the Government Code in order to insure ithat pending completion of land use studies with respect thereto, !i ii
