!i CITY OOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />i~ ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />!i ORDINANCE NO. 684 <br /> <br />i ZONING UNIT NO. 129, AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE <br />ti CITY OF PLEASANTON, AND AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2 <br />i~ OF TITLE II OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />~ PLEASANTON REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM THE R-1-6500 <br />~i (SINGLE FAMILY) DISTRICT TO THE "S" (STUDY) DISTRICT <br />ii FOR A SPECIFIED PERIOD OF TIME. <br /> <br />!]THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />i!FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />i~ I. <br />!f The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton, dated April 18, <br /> <br />~1960, referred to in ~2-12.12, Chapter 2 of Title II of the Ordi- <br />~inance Code of the City of Pleasanton, designating and dividing the <br />l~City of Pleasanton into Zoning Districts, is hereby amended as <br />~ifollows: <br /> <br />~ Zoning Unit No. 129, as shown on the map dated November 13 <br />!i 1972, on file with the City Clerk, copies of which are <br />~ attached hereto as Exhibit "A", and made a part hereof, <br />i! shall designate the land use and zoning district of the <br />i~ territory referred to therein. <br /> <br /> Said territory and zoning classification as amended are <br />iifurther described as follows: <br /> <br />!~ Real property owned by Singer Housing Company totaling <br />!~ approximately 28 acres in size and located within the <br />~{ area covered by Tracts #3311 and #3312, located easterly <br />~ and southerly respectively, of the Valley Community <br />i! Services District sewage treatment plant, is classified <br /> in the "S" (Study) District for a period not to exceed <br /> 90 days or until as a result of land use studies permanent <br /> zoning is affixed thereto, whichever is earlier. <br /> <br /> III. <br /> <br /> This ordinance shall be published once within 15 days <br />!iafter its adoption in "THE TIMES", a newspaper of general circula- <br />i~tion published in the City of Pleasanton, and shall be in force <br />i~immediately upon its adoption as an urgency interim zoning ordi- <br />!inance pursuant to ~65858 of the Government Code in order to insure <br /> <br /> ithat pending completion of land use studies with respect thereto, <br /> <br />!i <br /> <br />ii <br /> <br /> <br />
