Wayside and Delucchi Park Improvements Continue to work closely with the City of Pleasanton and other key stakeholders to finalize plans, establish a timeline and begin work to improve the appearance, functionality and safety of Wayside and Delucchi Parks to further enhance Downtown, including the creation of a grand lawn area between the Firehouse Arts Center and First Street. Looking forward to 2019, events planned by PDA during the year are projected to generate approximately 48% of the total 2019 revenue for the PDA. The 30 scheduled events and special promotions include 14 Concerts in the Park in Lions Wayside Park (June through August); two Antique Fairs (May and October); Wine Stroll (May); Installation Mixer (January); Annual Meeting (April); Board Retreat (mid-year); three membership mixers (April, June or July, and October), two Brew Crawls (March and October), Forkful (September), Small Business Saturday (November); Holiday Open House (November); and Holiday Spirit Stroll (November). And we are excited to announce plans to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of the City of Pleasanton with a Community Block Party on Friday, August 2, 2019. The 2019 planned events will require street closures to occur in the Downtown area on three days, only for the two Antique Fairs and for the 125th Anniversary celebration. Adoption of the resolution included as Attachment 2 will serve to accept the Downtown Pleasanton Business Improvement District Advisory Board 2018 Annual Report and 2019 PDA Budget and set October 16, 2018, as the date of the public hearing to levy the BID assessment for 2019.
