CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 679 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING FOR 90 DAYS THE PROVISIONS OF <br /> ORDINAi~CE NO. 658 PLACING CERTAIN PROPERTIES WITHIN <br /> THE MISSION PARK AREA OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON WITHIN <br /> A "S" (STUDY) DISTRICT <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> The provisions of Ordinance No. 658 as they relate to <br /> property shown on Zoning Unit Map No. 121, dated April 3, 1972, <br /> on file with the City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, placing <br /> certain properties within the Mission Park area of the City of <br /> Pleasanton in a "S" (Study) District are hereby extended for a <br /> period of 90 days in order to accommodate completion by the <br /> <br />~!City of Pleasanton staff, Planning Commission, and City Council <br /> <br /> of land use studies with respect thereto. <br /> <br /> II <br /> <br /> This ordinance shall be published once within 15 days <br /> after its adoption in "THE TIMES", a newspaper of general circula- <br /> tion, published in the City of Pleasanton, and shall be in force <br /> immediately upon its adoption as an urgency, interim zoning <br /> ordinance pursuant to Section 65858 of the Government Code in <br /> order to insure that, pending completion of land use studies with <br /> respect thereto, said properties will not develop. Said land use <br /> studies will deal, among other things, with density, traffic <br /> congestion and hazard and availability of essential municipal <br /> services. The provisions of this ordinance shall expire 90 days <br /> from the effective date hereof, unless extended pursuant to <br /> Section 65858 of the Government Code or unless prior to expiration <br /> permanent zoning districts are established with respect to the <br /> properties herein described. <br /> <br /> <br />
