Ordinance No. 2183 <br /> Page 2 of 3 <br /> 2) apply for a minor conditional use permit for the expansion of an existing <br /> permitted massage establishment to increase the number of massage <br /> technicians to four or more technicians at any one time; <br /> 3) apply for a revised sign permit; <br /> 4) apply for a building permit to address any health and safety issues for any <br /> building space within which the existing massage establishment is <br /> operating; <br /> 5) change ownership of the existing massage establishment, <br /> subject to Pleasanton Municipal Code Ch. 18.120 <br /> Nonconforming Uses. <br /> SECTION 3. Urgency (Interim) Ordinance No. 2182 is extended for a period <br /> of 22 months and 15 days from its expiration date. Except as described above, all terms <br /> adopted under the Ordinance shall continue with full force and effect as if re-stated here. <br /> SECTION 4. This ordinance is an urgency ordinance enacted under Government Code <br /> sections 65858 and 36937 and takes effect immediately upon adoption. <br /> SECTION 5. This ordinance is not subject to the California Environmental Quality Act <br /> ("CEQA") pursuant to sections 15606(c) (2) (the activity will not result in a direct or reasonably <br /> foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment) and 15060(c) (3) (the activity is not a <br /> project as defined in section 15378) of the CEQA Guidelines (California Code of Regulations, <br /> Title 14, Ch. 3). <br /> SECTION 6. A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) <br /> days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general circulation, and the <br /> complete ordinance shall be posted for fifteen (15) days in the City Clerk's office within fifteen <br /> (15) days after its adoption. <br /> The foregoing ordinance was adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br /> of Pleasanton on August 21, 2018 by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Brown, Narum, Olson, Mayor Thorne <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: Councilmember Pentin <br /> Abstain: None <br /> Jerry erne, ayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> A---5 <br /> Karen Dia., City Cler pieDated: d <br />
