RESOLUTION NO. 18-1040 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ORDERING <br /> THE SUMMARY VACATION OF PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENTS <br /> WHEREAS, on March 17, 2015, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 2114 approving <br /> the application by BHV, Center Street Properties, LLC, for PUD-108 to construct an approximately <br /> 112,000-square-foot shopping center and related off-site and on-site improvements on <br /> approximately 11.5 acres of the Retail/Commercial site at Staples Ranch, which is now addressed <br /> as 2693 to 2733 Stoneridge Drive; and <br /> WHEREAS, the approved PUD plan provided for the articulation of architectural features <br /> for the proposed buildings along the Stoneridge Drive and El Charro Road frontages to enhance <br /> the aesthetics of the development; and <br /> WHEREAS, the said features encroach onto minor portions of the existing public service <br /> easements (PSE) on Stoneridge Drive and El Charro Road frontage and require the developer to <br /> provide plats and legal descriptions for the vacation of PSEs as determined by the Director of <br /> Engineering/City Engineer; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that certain public service easements along the <br /> Stoneridge Drive and El Charro Road frontage of, and on the Pacific Pearl Parcel (APN 946 <br /> 462300200) for public utilities are no longer needed. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE, AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. The City Council finds that certain public service easements along the <br /> Stoneridge Drive and El Charro Road frontage of and on the Pacific Pearl parcel (APN 946 <br /> 462300200) for public utilities are no longer needed and orders the easements to be summarily <br /> vacated pursuant to Section 8333(c) of the Streets and Highway Code. <br /> SECTION 2.
