CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 727 <br /> <br /> ZONING UNIT MAP NO. 138, AND AN ORDINANCE REZONING A <br /> PARCEL OF PROPERTY APPROXIMATELY 5 ACRES IN SIZE, LOCATED <br /> BETWEEN SANTA RITA ROAD AND THE TASSAJARA CANAL APPROXI- <br /> MATELY 900 FEET SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 1-580, FROM A (AGRICUL- <br /> TURAL) DISTRICT TO C-S (COMMERCIAL SERVICE) DISTRICT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Joseph Madden applied for rezoning of certain property <br /> located between Santa Rita Road and the Tassajara Canal <br /> <br /> ~ approximately 900 feet south of Highway 1-580 from A (Agri- <br /> !i cultural) to C-S (Commercial Service)District; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at their regular meeting of <br /> May 8, 1974, reviewed this request and recommended to the <br /> City Council the rezoning of this property; and <br /> WHEREAS, this matter was heard by the City Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton at a Public Hearing held at their meeting on <br /> ~i May 29 1974; and <br /> <br /> I!WHEREAS this rezoning has been deemed to be consistent with the <br /> General Plan of the City of Pleasanton; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br /> ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. The parcel of property approximately 5 acres in size, <br /> <br /> owned by Joseph Madden, generally located between Santa Rita <br /> <br /> Road and the Tassajara Canal approximately 900 feet south <br /> of Highway 1-580, is hereby rezoned from A (Agricultural) <br /> District to C-S (Commercial Service) District, and the <br /> Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton is amended accordingly <br /> <br />,-Section 2. Zoning Unit Map No. 138 dated June 6 1974 on file <br /> <br />!! with the City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton and attached <br /> hereto as Exhibit A and made a part hereof by reference, <br /> designates said land use and zoning district. <br /> <br /> <br />
