The planning team <br /> received formal commitment from all six invited planning partners. <br /> Maps for each participating city are provided in the individual annex for that city in this volume. The regional <br /> maps in Volume 1 of this plan show the jurisdictional area of special purpose districts participating in this <br /> planning effort. <br /> Planning Partner Expectations <br /> The planning team developed the following list of planning partner expectations,which were confirmed by <br /> participating planning partners(see Appendix A for details): <br /> • Complete administrative tasks: <br /> > Complete a letter of intent. <br /> > Designate points of contact. <br /> ➢ Approve the steering committee. <br /> • Participate,as able,in additional opportunities: <br /> > Attend steering committee meetings. <br /> > Attend or host public meetings or open houses. <br /> ➢ Participate in and advertise the public review and comment period prior to adoption. <br /> • Support the steering committee. <br /> • Support the public involvement strategy. <br /> • Complete the jurisdictional annex template: <br /> ➢ Attend the mandatory workshop. <br /> ➢ Perform a capability assessment. <br /> > Review the risk assessment. <br /> > Review area-wide mitigation recommendations. <br /> > Develop a mitigation action plan. <br /> • Adopt the plan. <br /> By adopting this plan,each planning partner also agrees to the plan implementation and maintenance protocol <br /> established in Volume 1.Failure to meet these criteria may result in a partner being dropped from the partnership <br /> by the Steering Committee,and thus losing eligibility under the scope of this plan. <br /> Linkage Procedures <br /> Eligible local jurisdictions that did not participate in development of this multi jurisdictional plan may comply <br /> with DMA requirements by linking to this plan following the procedures outlined in Appendix B. <br /> ANNEX-PREPARATION PROCESS <br /> Templates <br /> Templates were created to help the Planning Partners prepare their jurisdiction-specific annexes.
