by any department of the City of Pleasanton or <br /> the owner, occupant, mortgagee, lessee or any <br /> other person having an interest. <br /> <br /> (3) Make written findings. of fact within thirty days <br /> of the date of first hearing. <br /> <br /> (4) The Board shall uphold, reverse or modify the <br /> <br /> City Manager ' s decision. <br /> <br />(d) A notice given by the Board of Appeals shall be <br />served personally or be sent by registered or certified <br />mail, postage prepared, return receipt requested, to the <br />person owning the land on which the building or structure <br />is located, 'as such persongs name and address appear on <br />the last equalized assessment roll, and to a mortgagee <br />or beneficiaFy under any Deed of Trust or record, at the <br />last known address of such mortgagee or beneficiary pro- <br />vided that if the whereabouts of such persons are unknown <br />and the same cannot be ascertained by the Fire Chief in <br />the exercise of reasonable diligence and the Fire Chief <br />shall ma~e an affidavit to that effect, then said notice <br />shall be served by publishing same once a week for two <br />consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in the City <br />of Pleasanton and by posting said notice on the property <br />prior to the date of first publication. Such notice shall <br />contain, among other things, the following information~ <br /> <br /> (1) Name of owner or other persons interested, as <br /> provided here inabove. <br /> <br /> (2) Street address and legal description of the pro- <br /> perty on which such a building or structure is <br /> located. <br /> <br /> (3) A general description of the matter which is <br /> being appealed. <br /> <br /> (4) The owner's right of appeal to the City Council. <br /> <br /> -5- <br /> <br /> <br />
