CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY~ CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 721 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 2, (DECREASE IN STATE <br /> SPEED LIMIT IN CERTAIN ZONES), CHAPTER 6 (SPEED <br /> ZONES), TITLE V (VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC, STREETS AND <br /> HIGHWAYS) OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON RELATING TO SPEED LIMITS ON HOPY~RD ROAD <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY <br /> ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. Subsection 5-6.05 (j) and (k) of Article 2, <br /> Chapter 6, Title V of the Ordinance Code of the City of <br /> Pleasanton are hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> (j) H_~0pyard_~Road. On Hopyard Road from the north <br /> end of th~el Valle Bridge to Stoneridge <br /> Drive north, the speed limit shall be 35 miles <br /> per hour. <br /> <br /> (k) Ho~.r.d Road. On Hopyard Road from Highway <br /> 580 south to Stoneridge Drive, the speed limit <br /> shall be 45 miles per hour. <br /> <br /> Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective thirty <br />(30) days after its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> Section 3.
