Ordinance No. 2181 <br /> Page 25 of 25 <br /> All exhibits to the agreement should be updated to reflect stormwater devices' <br /> as-built conditions, 2) Letter signed and stamped by the design consultant that <br /> all storm water treatment areas and hydro-modification control devices have <br /> been constructed in accordance with the approved design plans, 3) Joint <br /> inspection of stormwater treatment areas and hydro-modification devices by the <br /> City inspector and the project superintendent to verify the proper installation. <br /> 2. The Operation and Maintenance Agreement responsibilities shall include, but <br /> not be limited to the following: <br /> a. Repainting text near the drain inlets to state "No Dumping — Drains to <br /> Bay." <br /> b. Ensuring maintenance of landscaping with minimal pesticide and fertilizer <br /> use. <br /> c. Ensuring wastewater from industrial, commercial, and covered vehicle <br /> wash areas and equipment washing operations is not discharged to the <br /> storm drain system. <br /> d. Ensuring no one is disposing of vehicle fluids, hazardous materials or <br /> rinse water from cleaning tools, equipment or parts into storm drains. <br /> e. Cleaning all on-site storm drains at least twice a year with one cleaning <br /> immediately prior to the rainy season. The City may require additional <br /> cleanings. <br /> f. Sweeping regularly but not less than once a month, driveways, sidewalks <br /> and paved areas to minimize the accumulation of litter and debris. Corners <br /> and hard to reach areas shall be swept manually. Debris from pressure <br /> washing shall be trapped and collected to prevent entry into the storm <br /> drain system. Wastewater containing any soap, cleaning agent or <br /> degreaser shall not be discharged into the storm drain. <br /> g. Mowing and removing clippings from vegetated swales with grasses on a <br /> regular basis. <br /> < End > <br />
