Ordinance No 2180 <br /> Page 4 of 8 <br /> 11.58.050 Signs. <br /> The prohibition set forth in subdivision A.2. of section 11.58.030, relating to medians and corner <br /> islands located in high-volume intersections, shall not be enforceable in an intersection unless <br /> the city traffic engineer has posted a sign in the intersection giving notice of the prohibition. <br /> 11.58.060 Violations. <br /> Violation of any provision of this chapter shall be punishable as an infraction as provided in <br /> Section 1.12.020 of this code. <br /> 11.58.070 Regulations nonexclusive. <br /> The provisions of this chapter are not intended to be exclusive and nothing in this chapter in any <br /> way limits or precludes the enforcement of any other applicable laws, or any other remedy that <br /> may be available to the City for conduct that violates this chapter. <br /> SECTION 3. A new subdivision is added to Section 1.12.020(B) of Chapter 1.12 of Title <br /> 1 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code to reference "Chapter 11.58, regulation of traffic medians." <br /> The subdivisions in Section 1.12.020(B) shall be renumbered accordingly. <br /> SECTION 4. The provisions found in this Ordinance are declared to be separate and <br /> severable. The invalidity of any clause, sentence, paragraph, subdivision, section or portion of <br /> this section, or the invalidity of the application thereof to any person or circumstance shall not <br /> affect the validity of the remainder of this section, or the validity of its application to other persons <br /> or circumstances. <br /> SECTION 5. A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) <br /> days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general circulation, and the complete <br /> ordinance shall be posted for fifteen (15) days in the City Clerk's office within fifteen (15) days <br /> after its adoption. <br /> SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> The foregoing Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the <br /> City of Pleasanton on May 1, 2018 by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Brown, Olson, Pentin, Mayor Thorne <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: Councilmember Narum <br /> Abstain: None <br />
