ORDINANCE NO. 2179 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> AMENDING THE FOLLOWING PROVISIONS OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE: <br /> §1.24.125 TO CLARIFY APPEAL PROCESS FOR ADMINISTRATIVE <br /> CITATIONS; CH. 3.40 TO DELETE THE EXPIRED NORTH SYCAMORE AREA <br /> DEVELOPMENT IMPACT FEE; CH. 11.52 TO DELETE LOCAL BICYCLE <br /> LICENSING REQUIREMENT AND FEE; CH. 11.64 TO PROVIDE THAT STREET <br /> CLOSURE AND PARADE PERMIT HOLDERS MAY EXCLUDE OTHERS; <br /> §13.04.435 TO REMOVE THE PROHIBITION ON OUTDOOR DINING AREA <br /> ENCLOSURES FROM BEING ATTACHED TO THE SIDEWALK; §14.04.050 TO <br /> CLARIFY WHEN A SEPARATE IRRIGATION METER IS NEEDED; §14.06.040 <br /> TO PROVIDE FOR ANNUAL RECYCLED WATER ON-SITE INSPECTION AND <br /> ALLOW CERTIFIED PERSONS TO SWITCH SITES MONITORED; CH. 17.16 <br /> TO DELETE HERITAGE TREE BOARD OF APPEALS WRITTEN FINDING <br /> REQUIREMENT AND CLARIFY THAT FINES ARE APPEALABLE TO THE <br /> BOARD; CH. 18.106 TO PROVIDE THAT AN OWNER WITH SECOND UNIT <br /> CAN RENT BOTH THE MAIN HOUSE AND THE SECOND UNIT TO A SINGLE <br /> PARTY; AND TITLE 19 TO UPDATE SUBDIVISION MAP TERMS AND <br /> EXTENSIONS TO MATCH STATE LAW <br /> WHEREAS, as a general law city many provisions of the Pleasanton Municipal <br /> Code need to match state law; and <br /> WHEREAS, the municipal code also regularly needs to be updated to reflect <br /> current practices and delete out-of-date references; and <br /> WHEREAS, these non-controversial minor municipal code amendments can <br /> collectively occur annually as part of an omnibus process. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1. Finds that the proposed amendments to the Pleasanton Municipal <br /> Code have no possibility to have a significant effect on the environment per Title 14 <br /> California Code of Regulations §15061(b)(3). <br /> SECTION 2. Adopts the amendments to the Pleasanton Municipal Code as set <br /> forth in the attached Exhibit A. <br /> SECTION 3. A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within <br /> fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley Times", a newspaper of general <br /> circulation published in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete ordinance shall be <br /> posted for fifteen (15) days in the City Clerk's office within fifteen (15) days after its <br /> adoption. <br />
