RESOLUTION NO. <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> DECLARING THE INTENTION TO ORDER IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE LIGHTING & <br /> LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. 1993-2 BONDE RANCH FOR FISCAL <br /> YEAR 2018/19; DECLARING THE INTENTION TO LEVY AND COLLECT <br /> ASSESSMENTS; AND SETTING THE DATE FOR THE PUBLIC HEARING <br /> WHEREAS, as required by Section 22622 of the California Streets and Highways Code, <br /> the City Council of the City of Pleasanton has described proposed improvements to be included <br /> for the determination of annual assessments levied for Lighting and Landscape Maintenance <br /> District No. 1993-2 Bonde Ranch, created under the Lighting & Landscape Act of 1972, and <br /> ordered the preparation of an Engineer's Report to determine the annual levy of assessments for <br /> such District; and <br /> WHEREAS, as required by Section 22622 of the California Streets and Highways Code, <br /> the Engineer has filed with the City Clerk a Preliminary Engineer's Report for the Lighting & <br /> Landscape Maintenance District No. 1993-2 Bonde Ranch for Fiscal Year 2018/19. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. Stephen Kirkpatrick, City Engineer, is the person designated by this <br /> Council as the Engineer of Work for Lighting & Landscape Maintenance District No. 1993-2, <br /> Bonde Ranch, during fiscal year 2018/19. The area of land to be assessed is located in the City <br /> of Pleasanton, Alameda County. <br /> SECTION 2. The City Council intends to levy and collect assessments within Lighting & <br /> Landscape Maintenance District No. 1993-2, Bonde Ranch, during fiscal year 2018/19. The area <br /> of land to be assessed is located in the City of Pleasanton, Alameda County. <br /> SECTION 3. The improvements to be made in this assessment district are generally <br /> described as follows: <br /> The maintenance and repair of street lighting, designated landscaped areas, open space slopes, <br /> fuel transition zones (fire breaks), entry features, open space drainage ditches, irrigation systems, <br /> trees in the open space and designated landscape areas, and the furnishing of water and power <br /> for irrigation systems, together with all appurtenance and incidental expenses within Tract 6483 <br /> and Tract 6518, City of Pleasanton. <br /> SECTION 4. In accordance with this resolution directing the filing of an annual report, <br /> Stephen Kirkpatrick, Engineer of Work, has filed with the City Clerk the report required by the <br /> Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. All interested persons are referred to that report for a full <br /> and detailed description of the improvements, the boundaries of the assessments upon <br /> assessable lots and parcels of land within the assessment district. <br /> SECTION 5. On Tuesday, the 19th day of June 2018, at the hour of 7:00 pm, the City <br /> Council will conduct a public hearing on the question of the levy of the proposed annual <br /> assessment. The hearing will be located in the City Council Chambers, 200 Old Bernal Avenue, <br /> Pleasanton, California. <br /> 10 <br />
