The cost for the new station is included in the Civic Center <br /> estimate, as further described below. <br /> Downtown Parking <br /> This analysis assumes a new approximately 200-space parking structure in downtown. The <br /> parking will serve needs of existing and new service population and is estimated to cost $5.5 <br /> million as a planning-level estimate. <br /> Civic Center <br /> The existing City Hall building is assumed to be relocated to the Bernal Property with the existing <br /> Civic Center redeveloped for commercial uses. The new Civic Center will consist of the City Hall, <br /> library, community center, a police station, and a new 200-space parking deck. The City <br /> estimates the total cost for the new Civic Center to be around $200 million.
