Attachment 2 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF LIBRARY AND RECREATION TO EXECUTE <br /> TEMPORARY PROPERTY ENTRY AGREEMENTS FOR CITY SPECIAL EVENTS <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has previously delegated authority to the City Manager in <br /> Municipal Code Chapter 2.08 for the efficient administration of all the affairs of the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City regularly needs to enter into property entry agreements with third <br /> parties in order for the City to use private property for city special events, with such agreements <br /> on templates approved by the City Attorney's Office; and <br /> WHEREAS, many property entry agreements for special events are time-sensitive and <br /> efficiencies could be achieved by allowing the Director of Library and Recreation to execute such <br /> agreements on behalf of the City. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. Authorizes the Director of Library and Recreation to execute on behalf of <br /> the City temporary property entry agreements for special events to allow City employees, agents, <br /> invitees and volunteers to enter onto private property for City special events. <br /> SECTION 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br /> a regular meeting held on May 1, 2018. <br /> I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br /> resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on May 1, 2018, by the <br /> following vote: <br /> Ayes: <br /> Noes: <br /> Absent: <br /> Abstain: <br /> Karen Diaz, City Clerk <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> Daniel G.
