Ordinance No. <br /> Page 16 <br /> • e. 99 - <br /> CHAPTER 19.20 TENTATIVE MAP <br /> 19.20.130 Expiration. Tentative map approval shall expire twenty-four (241 months <br /> after approval or conditional approval of the tentative map, or such longer time as <br /> mandated by the Subdivision Map Act (see Government Code Section 66452.666410, <br /> et seq.). <br /> 19.20.140 Time extension. Upon written application of the subdivider made prior to <br /> the expiration of the tentative map, the subdivider may apply for an extension. <br /> 1. The first application may be for an extension of up to twenty-four (24) months. <br /> 2. Up to four (4) subsequent applications may be made for extensions of twelve <br /> (12) months each. <br /> 3. A cumulative total of six (6) years of extensions may be granted as provided <br /> in Subsections 1 and 2, above. <br /> 4. Extensions granted pursuant to this section similarly extend any city <br /> legislative, administrative or other approval that pertains to a development project <br /> included in the tentative map if such approval has not expired when a complete <br /> application for extension was submitted. <br /> the planning commission may grant an extension of time not exceeding one year for the <br /> granted under this section shall not exceed a total of three years for any tentative map. <br /> Application for an extension shall be made to the planning commission prior to the <br /> expiration of tentative map approval, or any extension thereof, and shall be <br /> accompanied with a fee as set forth in the resolution establishing fees and charges, <br /> codified in the appendix to Title 3 of this code. The application must include the reasons <br /> or bases for the requested extension. Upon receipt of a written application for an <br /> extension which must include the reasons or bases for the requested extension, plus <br /> payment of fee, the tentative map shall be automatically extended for sixty (60) days, or <br /> until the application is approved, conditionally approved, or denied, whichever occurs <br /> first. <br /> If the planning commission denies a subdivider's application for extension, the <br /> subdivider may appeal to the city council within 15 days after the planning commission <br /> has denied the extension. <br /> CHAPTER 19/2 VESTING TENTATIVE MAP <br />
