PPi"'VED AS T FORM <br /> <br /> Date l' <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ' <br /> <br /> AL EDA CouNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 710 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ~2-5.41, ARTICLE 3, (SITE, YARD, <br /> BULK, USABLE OPEN SPACE AND SCREENING AND LANDSCAPING <br /> REGULATIONS), CHAPTER 2 (ZONING), TITLE II (ZONING AND <br /> DEVELOPMENT) OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON RELATING TO PROJECTION INTO YARDS <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1 Sub-paragraph 6 (Covered Patios) Section 2-5 41 (Pro- <br /> jections into Yards), Article 3, Chapter 2, Title II of the Ordi- <br /> nance Code of the City of Pleasanton is hereby amended to read as <br /> <br /> follows: <br /> <br /> 6. Covered Patios. Covered patios attached to a main <br /> structure and enclosed on more than one side may <br /> project not more than eight (8) feet into a required <br /> rear yard and five (5) feet into a required side <br /> yard within thirty-five (35) feet of the rear lot <br /> line, provided that the required side yard shall not <br /> be reduced to less than five (5) feet Covered <br /> patios attached to a main structure and opened on <br /> three sides may come to within five (5) feet of the <br /> rear and side property lines of property within any <br /> residential zone. <br /> <br /> Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective 30 days after <br /> <br /> its passage and adoption <br /> <br /> Section 3. This Ordinance shall be published once within fifteen <br /> days after its adoption in "THE TIMES", a newspaper of general <br /> circulation, published in the City of Pleasanton <br /> <br /> INTRODUCED at the regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br /> of Pleasanton on September 12, 1973. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED at the regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> <br /> Pleasanton on September 17 , 1973, by the following vote: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Mori and Kinney <br /> <br /> NOES: Councilman Reid and Mayor Pearson <br /> <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br />:~ ABSTAIN: None ~~M.~~ <br />.'
