Executive Summary <br /> AP-05 Executive Summary - 91.2OO(c), 91.22O(b) <br /> 1. Introduction <br /> The Annual Action Plan includes a listing of projects and activities to be funded with CDBG funds <br /> during FY2018-2019 as well as an annual assessment of the City's progress toward meeting its <br /> goals for housing and community development. Pleasanton is anticipated to receive $331,716 in <br /> federal CDBG funds for federal Fiscal Year 2018, and the City will allocate $67,000 in local Lower <br /> Income Housing Funds and $206,379 in local General Funds to supplement funding for several <br /> housing projects and services which sought funds under the CDBG program funding allocation <br /> process. <br /> In order to implement its Housing and Community Development Strategic Plan during the next <br /> fiscal year, the City of Pleasanton will allocate CDBG funds to non-profit agencies serving low <br /> income persons for the implementation of the FY2018-2019 Housing and Human Services Grants <br /> Program (see Table A below) which will fund 22 different projects. $23,539 in CDBG funds will <br /> be allocated to the City's annual Section 108 Loan Repayment in accordance with HUD's 20-year <br /> repayment plan. $192,077 in CDBG funds will go toward capital improvement projects benefiting <br /> formerly homeless families, domestic violence victims (Tri-Valley Haven Capital Improvement <br /> Project), and low income persons without access to dental care (Axis Community Health Phase 2 <br /> Capital Project for Dental Services). $49,757 in CDBG funds will fund a public service program <br /> providing meals to low income seniors (Open Heart Kitchen Senior Meals Program). <br /> All FY2018-2019 activities are targeted to serve eligible households which reside within the City <br /> of Pleasanton,although several projects are located in the adjacent cities of Livermore and Dublin <br /> but serve Pleasanton residents. <br /> DRAFT Annual Action Plan 2 <br /> 2018 <br /> OMB Control No:2506-0117(exp.07/31/2015) <br />
