THE CITY OF 8 <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLEASANTON® <br /> April 17, 2018 <br /> Finance <br /> TITLE: ACCEPT THE SINGLE AUDIT REPORT FOR THE YEAR ENDING <br /> JUNE 30, 2017 <br /> SUMMARY <br /> Each year, the City of Pleasanton is required to prepare the audited financial statements <br /> in addition to a number of related reports. The FY 2016/17 reports were reviewed by the <br /> Audit Committee on January 24, 2018 and accepted by City Council on February 20, <br /> 2018. The Single Audit Report, another required report, was not included in the original <br /> report package as the fieldwork required for issuance of the report was not completed <br /> by the auditors until the end of February. The report was issued in March 2018. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Staff recommends that the City Council accept the FY 2016/17 Single Audit Report. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There is no direct fiscal impact in accepting the FY 2016/17 Single Audit Report. <br />
