Y O V <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 5 (R-1 ONE FAMILY RESI- <br /> DENTIAL DISTRICTS) AND ARTICLE 6 (RM MULTI-FAMILY <br /> RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS), CHAPTER 2 (ZONING), TITLE II <br /> (ZONING AND DEVELOPMENT) OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON RELATING TO PROHIBITED USES <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. 92-6.12 (Required Conditions), Article 5, Chapter 2, <br /> <br /> Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton <br /> is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> §2-6.12 Required Conditions. All uses shall <br /> comply with the regulations prescribed in <br /> Article 3 (Site, Yard, Bulk, Useable Open Space~ <br /> and Screening and Landscaping Regulations). <br /> <br />Section 2. §2-6.12(a) (Prohibited Uses) is hereby added to <br /> Article 5, Chapter 2, Title II of the Ordinance Code <br /> of the City of Pleasanton to read as follows: <br /> <br /> §2-6.12(a) Prohibited Uses. The following uses <br /> shall not be permitted: <br /> <br /> a. Any use not specifically or conditionally <br /> permitted by this Article. <br /> <br /> b. Barbed wire fences or any fence which has <br /> attached to it, for purposes of prohibiting <br /> people or animals from climbing the same, <br /> barbed wire regardless of type, with the <br /> following exceptions: <br /> <br /> 1. Where this Chapter specifically <br /> allows for the keeping of horses. <br /> <br /> 2. Where property, although zoned for <br /> residential use, has not yet devel- <br /> oped pursuant to that zoning and, <br /> thus, a great deal of open acreage <br /> still remains and is used for the <br /> keeping of horses and other animals <br /> included in the Agricultural District~ <br /> such usage becoming non-conforming <br /> as a result of the change in zoning. <br /> <br /> c. Any process, equipment or material which <br /> has been determined by the Planning Com- <br /> mission to be detrimental or harmful to the <br /> public health, safety or welfare or injur- <br /> <br /> <br />
