Sec. 4-2.1416. Identification Name Plate. <br /> <br /> The Chief of Police shall provide each employee <br /> licensed pursuant to this Chapter with an identification <br /> name plate which shall contain a photograph of the employee, <br /> the full name and permit number assigned to said employee <br /> which must be worn during working hours on the garment 'cover- <br /> ing the chest portion of the body. <br /> <br /> Sec. 4-2.1417. Revocation or Suspension of Permit. <br /> <br /> Any permit issued for a massage establishment or out~- <br /> call massage service may be revoked or suspended by the <br /> Chief of Police, after a hearing conducted pursuant to Sectio <br /> 4-2.1419, in any case where any of the provisions of this <br /> Chapter is violated, or where any employee of the permittee, <br /> including masseurs, is engaging in immoral conduct or <br /> activities at permittee's place of business, or in any case <br /> where the permittee refuses to permit any duly authorized <br /> officer of the City to inspect the premises or the operations <br /> therein. Such permit may also be revoked or suspended by <br /> the Chief of Police, after hearing, upon the recommendation <br /> of the Health Officer that such business is being managed, <br /> conducted or maintained without regard for the public health <br /> ' <br />or health of patrons or customers, or without due regard to <br />proper sanitation or hygiene. <br /> <br /> Sec. 4-2.1418. Revocation or Suspension of Employee <br /> Pe rmi t. <br /> <br /> Any masseur permit issued by the Chief of Police may <br />be revoked or suspended after a hearing conducted pursuant <br />to Section 4-2.1419 on any of the following grounds: <br /> <br /> (a) Violation of any of the provisions of this Chapter <br />applicable to masseurs. <br /> <br /> (b) Conviction of any crime requiring registration <br />under Section 290 of the Penal Code of the State of Califor- <br />nia. <br /> <br /> (c) Violations of Sections 311 through 311.7~ 647(a), <br />647(b), 647a, 647b, 650½, 314,315,316, or 318 of the Penal <br />Code of the State of California. <br /> <br />Sec. 4-2.1419. Hearing and Appeal. <br /> <br /> Prior to the revocation or suspension of any permit <br />issued pursuant to the provisions of this Chapter a hearing <br />shall be held by the Chief of Police. Written notice of the <br />grounds for the hearing, as well as its time and place, shall <br />be mailed to the permittee seven (7) days prior to said heari <br />Within twenty-four (24) hours after the conclusion of the <br />hearing the Chief of Police shall mail written notice to <br />permittee of his decision. <br /> <br />The decision of ~he Chief of Police may be appealed by <br />permittee to the City Council, provided written notice of <br />said appeal and reasons therefor are filed with the City <br />Clerk ten (10) days after mailing of the Chief of Police's <br />decision.
