CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br /> December 5, 2017 <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Thorne called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. <br /> Councilmember Pentin led the Pledge of Allegiance and provided opening remarks. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Brown, Narum, Olson, Pentin, Mayor Thorne <br /> Absent: None <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> City Manager Nelson Fialho advised that Items No. 6 and 7 be pulled from the agenda. <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Mayor Thorne announced he will abstain on Item 3. He opened the public hearings, noted there were <br /> no speakers and closed the public hearings. <br /> City Manager <br /> 1. Waived full reading and adopted Resolution 17-979 setting the 2018 calendar year City Council <br /> meeting schedule <br /> Community Development <br /> 2. Actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission <br /> 3. Waived second reading and adopted Ordinance No. 2172 approving Planned Unit <br /> Development (PUD) to rezone 12 parcels at 7106 through 7315 Johnson Drive and 7035 and <br /> 7080 Commerce Circle, comprising of approximately 40 acres known as the Johnson Drive <br /> Economic Development Zone (JDEDZ) as filed under Case PUD-105 *Thorne Abstained* <br /> 4. Approved a Cooperative Agreement between the City of Pleasanton and the Alameda County <br /> Transportation Commission for the expenditure of Tri-Valley Transportation Fee Funds on State <br /> Route 84 Expressway Project 2A <br /> Economic Development <br /> 5. PUBLIC HEARING: Waived full reading and adopted Resolution No. 17-980 levying the <br /> Downtown Pleasanton Business Improvement District Assessment for 2018 <br /> Engineering <br /> 6. PULLED FROM THE AGENDA - Approve plans and specifications, review bids, and award <br /> construction contract for the Dolores Bengtson Aquatic Center Locker Rooms Renovation project, <br /> CIP No. 17706 (Bid opening November 30) <br />
