CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 693 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING FOR 60 DAYS THE PROVISIONS OF <br /> ORDINANCES NOS. 679 and 688 WITH RESPECT TO CERTAIN <br /> PROPERTIES WITHIN THE MISSION PARK AREA OF THE CITY <br /> OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> I. <br /> <br />The provisions of Ordinances No. 679 and No. 688 as they relate <br />to property shown on Zoning Unit Map No. 121, dated April 3, 1972, <br />are hereby extended for a period of 60 days. <br /> <br />This ordinance shall be published once within 15 days after its <br />adoption in "THE TIMES", a newspaper of general circulation, <br />published in the City of Pleasanton, and shall be in force immedi- <br />ately upon its adoption as an urgency, interim zoning ordinance <br />pursuant to ~65858 of the Government Code in order to insure that <br />pending completion of land use studies with respect thereto, said <br />properties will not develop. Said land use studies will deal, <br />among other things, with density, traffic congestion and hazard <br />and availability of essential municipal services. The provisions <br />hereof shall expire 60 days from the effective date hereof unless <br />extended pursuant to ~65858 of the Government Code or unless, <br />prior to expiration, permanent zoning districts are established <br />with respect to the properties herein described. <br /> <br />INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton on March 19, 1973. <br /> <br />ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton on March 19, 1973, by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Pearson and Mayor Reid <br /> <br /> <br />
