Karen Gonzales
om: Pleasanton City Clerk
ubject: Owens lane closure
SUPPLEMENTAL MATERIAL
Provided to the City Council
Original Message After Distribution of Packet
From:Jerry Mercola I ( /11
Sent: Saturday,January 13, 2018 11:39 AM Date
To: Mayor and City Council
Subject:Owens lane closure
Hello,
Its one thing to let the contractor to temporarily close the lane but the building should have been made so they have
their own parking. Why give them a private access road?
The city council does not appear to take parking into account and make it mandatory when giving out permits. Witness
the new building downtown that wiped out a parking lot and the builder did not have to provide parking for their
tenants or customers. Same thing in the new JDEDZ. The current JDED plans take away over 50 street parking places
that are used daily.
Jerry Mercola
•
1
