Karen Gonzales
rom: Pleasanton City Clerk SUPPLEMENTAL MATER AL
ubject: Owens Drive at BART Provided to the City Council
After Distribution of Packet
Date . / /2-/ E3
From: Bob Howe
Sent: Friday,January 12, 2018 3:37 PM
To: Mayor and City Council
Subject:Owens Drive at BART
Dear City Council,
While I would prefer restoration of all lanes on Owens, as it was before the city donated two to the developer, probably the
best fall-back position is to change to 2 lanes in each direction.
Since pedestrian and bicyclist safety is a major concern, why not build an overpass for these folks. With a gradual ramp,
bicyclists can easily walk there bikes up and over the roadway. Fence off the roadway to prevent these vulnerable folks
from crossing the roadway rather than using the overpass.
Thank you for listening,
Robert Howe
3228 Arbor Drive
Pleasanton 94566
• Click here to report this email as spam.
S
i
