STONERIDGE DRIVE SPECIFIC PLAN AMENDMENUSTAPLES RANCH PROJECT <br />MITIGATION MONITORING AND REPORTING PLAN [May 20101 <br />Mitigation Measures/Improvement Measures <br />Aesthetics and Visual Quality <br />VQ -3.1 Prepare Lighting Plan. All exterior lighting shall be directed <br />downward and shielded to avoid shining on neighboring properties. Each <br />developer shall submit a conceptual and final lighting plan, and include <br />drawings and/or manufacturer's specification sheets showing the size and <br />types of light fixtures proposed for the exterior areas, including exterior <br />building lighting and parking lot lighting. The City will refer the <br />conceptual lighting plan, including conceptual light fixtures and their <br />locations, to the Alameda County ALUC, and to the FAA if requested by <br />the FAA, prior to Planned Unit Development approval of the Community <br />Development Director prior to the issuance of a building permit. <br />Energy efficient lamp technologies shall be incorporated wherever <br />possible. Mercury vapor shall be avoided. Incandescent light shall be <br />avoided unless they are integrated with a control mechanism that limits <br />their operation time.
