41. All fire sprinkler system water flow and control valves shall be complete and <br />serviceable prior to final inspection. Prior to the occupancy of a building having a <br />fire alarm system, the Fire Department shall test and witness the operation of the <br />fire alarm system. <br />42. Prior to any construction framing, the project developer shall provide adequate <br />fire protection facilities in conformance to the City's Fire Department Standards <br />able to suppress a major fire. <br />43. Address numbers shall be installed on the front or primary entrance for all new <br />buildings. Where multiple access is provided, address or tenant space number <br />shall be provided by each entrance door. In all cases address numerals shall be <br />of contrasting background and clearly visible in accordance with the Livermore - <br />Pleasanton Fire Department Premises Identification Standards. <br />Engineering Requirements <br />44. The applicant shall cover the new trash enclosures, shall direct -connect the <br />enclosures to the development's sanitary sewer system, and shall install a hose - <br />bib inside the enclosure. If, however, the City Engineer determines that that <br />sanitary sewer connection is a hardship, the applicant shall create a dry sump in <br />the trash enclosures that are covered with a standard grate. The sump shall be <br />sized to handle any anticipate spills and shall be pumped out manually. In either <br />case, the enclosure shall drain towards the sewer drain or sump and all drainage <br />outside the enclosure shall be designed to drain away from the structure. <br />45. The haul route for all materials to/from this development shall be approved by the <br />City Engineer prior to the issuance of an encroachment permit. <br />46. Any damage to existing public street improvements during construction on the <br />subject property shall be repaired to the satisfaction of the City Engineer at full <br />expense to the applicant. This shall include slurry seal, overlay, or street <br />reconstruction if deemed warranted by the City Engineer. <br />47. The project developer shall construct vertical P.C.C. curbs and gutters within this <br />development. <br />48. The applicant shall submit a refundable cash bond for hazard and erosion control <br />prior to issuance of an Engineering permit. The amount of this bond will be <br />determined by the City Engineer. <br />E-3 <br />
