responsibility of the Project Developer to ensure that the project contractor is <br />aware of, and abides by, all the green building requirements. <br />c. The total number of green building points to be achieved shall be determined <br />by the Project Developer; however, the project shall exceed the minimum <br />number of points required on the checklist, as determined by the Green <br />Building Compliance Official. <br />7. Construction. <br />a. The Project Developer shall be responsible for conducting sonic vermin <br />control immediately prior to and during grading and construction. The details <br />of the sonic rodent control measures, including the location of the sonic <br />devices shall be submitted to and subject to the review and approval of the <br />Principal Planner prior to the issuance of a grading permit or building permit, <br />whichever is sooner. The approved measures shall be included in the plan <br />sets submitted for the issuance of a grading permit and the plans submitted <br />for the issuance of a building permit. <br />b. Dust and mud shall be contained within the boundaries of the property during <br />times of construction. The Project Developer shall submit a written dust <br />control plan or procedure as part of the building permit plans. <br />c. Portable toilets used during construction shall be emptied on a regular basis <br />as necessary to prevent odor. <br />d. Construction trailers shall be allowed to be placed on the project site for daily <br />administration/coordination purposes during the construction period. At no <br />time shall campers, trailers, motor homes, or any other vehicle be used as <br />living or sleeping quarters on the construction site. All such vehicles shall be <br />removed from the site at the end of each workday. <br />e. Any damage to existing street or sidewalk improvements during construction <br />on the subject property shall be repaired to the satisfaction of the City <br />Engineer at full expense to the developer. This shall include slurry seal, <br />overlay, or street reconstruction if deemed warranted by the City Engineer. <br />8. Trash and Recycling Enclosures. All trash and recycling refuse shall be <br />contained completely within the approved trash and recycling enclosure. The <br />materials and color of the enclosure shall match the building and the gates shall <br />be corrugated metal or solid wood. The design of the enclosure (all four sides) <br />shall be shown on the plans submitted for issuance of building permits. The <br />design and location of the trash and recycling enclosure shall be subject to the <br />approval of the Director of Parks and Community Services, the Chief Building <br />Official, and Fire Chief. Trash and recycling containers shall be stored within the <br />enclosure at all times, except when being unloaded. A recycling container(s) <br />shall be provided within the enclosure. The recycling container(s) and enclosure <br />shall be designed in a manner consistent with Pleasanton Garbage Service's <br />
