mitigation measures identified for the Ice Center Alternative would
reduce impacts associated with construction activities to less than
significant, similar to the Ice Center Alternative.
Population, Employment, Housing
A minor increase in size of the Ice Center by approximately 3,000
square feet would not create a substantially more severe impact
than shown in the EIR since the number of employees at the Ice
Center is not proposed to change from what was analyzed.
Water Supply
The number of occupants is not proposed to change. The impacts
to water supply would be similar to those analyzed in the Ice Center
Alternative. This alternative resulted in a less than significant
impact on water supply.
iii. Mitigation measures or alternatives previously found not to be
feasible would in fact be feasible, and would substantially reduce
one or more significant effects of the project, but the project
proponents decline to adopt the mitigation measure or alternative;
or-.,,
6iscussion: The increase in size of the Ice Center will not make the
proposed mitigation measures or other alternatives previously
identified as infeasible to be feasible, and will not
VNsubstantially reduce one or more of the significant effects of the
project for the reasons described above.
iv. Mitigation measures or alternatives which are considerably different
from those analyzed in the EIR would substantially reduce one or
more significant effects on the environment, but the project
proponents decline to adopt the mitigation measure or alternative.
Discussion: The increase in the size of the Ice Center will not result
in mitigation measures or alternatives that are considerably
different from those analyzed in the EIR or that will substantially
reduce one or more significant effects on the environment for the
reasons described above.
Conclusion
This Addendum to the EIR has been prepared in accordance with CEQA Guidelines,
Section 15164, and reflects a proposed increase in size of the Ice Center by
approximately 3,179 square feet. Responses to the criteria above do not result in the
need to prepare a Subsequent or Supplemental EIR pursuant to CEQA Guidelines
Section 15162 and 15163. Therefore, the proposed project is adequately addressed in
the EIR and this Addendum.
W A -L
t A -ca u c
