system shall be submitted to the Fire Prevention Bureau through the <br />Pleasanton Building and Safety Division for review and approval prior to <br />installation. The fire alarm system, including waterflow and valve tamper, <br />shall have plans and specifications submitted to Fire Prevention for review <br />and approval prior to installation. All required inspections and witnessing of <br />tests shall be completed prior to final inspection and occupancy of the <br />building(s). The fire alarm system shall be monitored in accordance with the <br />Pleasanton Municipal Ordinance #1965. <br />26. The applicants shall post address numerals on the building so as to be <br />plainly visible from all adjoining streets or driveways during both daylight <br />and night time hours. <br />27. Fire hydrants shall be required along the perimeter of the drive aisles and <br />shall be spaced in a manner typical for commercial and residential <br />development. The number and location of the hydrants shall be subject to <br />the review and approval of the Fire Marshal. <br />28. Industrial and Commercial Development. The following items will be <br />provided prior to any construction above the foundation or slab. NOTE: <br />Periodic inspections will be made for compliance. <br />a. Site access shall be provided prior to any construction above the <br />foundation or slab. Based on the Site Plan Approval the access shall <br />be installed. <br />b. Emergency vehicle access shall be a minimum of 20 feet in width. A <br />clear height free of obstructions (power, cable, telephone lines, tree <br />limbs, etc.) shall be provided. This clearance shall be a minimum of <br />13 feet 6 inches. <br />c. Buildings or portions of buildings or facilities exceeding 30 feet <br />(9144 mm) in height above the lowest level of fire department vehicle <br />access shall be provided with approved fire apparatus access roads <br />capable of accommodating fire department aerial apparatus. Fire <br />apparatus access roads shall have a minimum unobstructed width of <br />26 feet in the immediate vicinity of any building or portion of building <br />more than 30 feet (9144 mm) in height. At least one of the required <br />access routes meeting this condition shall be located within a <br />minimum of 15 feet (4572 mm) and a maximum of 30 feet (9144 mm) <br />from the building, and shall be positioned parallel to one entire side of <br />the building, or at least one of the access routes shall be as <br />otherwise approved by the Fire Marshal. <br />d. Buildings or facilities exceeding 62,000 square feet of gross building <br />area shall be provided with two separate and approved fire apparatus <br />30 <br />
