Site directional signage meeting the requirements of Title 24 California <br />Building Code Chapter 11 B and the Americans with Disabilities Act 28 CFR <br />Part 36 shall be provided from the public way to the entrance of the building <br />or facility along an accessible route of travel. <br />17. The site shall provide an accessible path to all business activity areas and <br />common areas as determined by the Building and Safety Division. <br />18. All accessible parking stalls shall be located on the shortest accessible <br />route of travel from the adjacent parking to the accessible entrance. At least <br />one in every eight accessible spaces must be van accessible, with proper <br />signage and striping, and the access aisle shall be located on the <br />passenger side of the stall. See Title 24 California Building Code <br />Chapter 11 B. <br />19. All existing wells on the site shall be removed or sealed, filled and <br />abandoned pursuant to Alameda County Ordinance 73-68, prior to the start <br />of grading operations unless Zone 7 retains specific wells for observation <br />wells, or special approval is obtained from Zone 7 and the City Engineer for <br />use of an existing well for landscape irrigation. If an existing well is retained <br />for this purpose: <br />a. The building developer shall install backflow devices to prevent the <br />cross contamination of the domestic, City water supply by the <br />landscape well. <br />b. A certified Backflow Inspector shall inspect the well and backflow <br />devices annually and shall submit a report the City Engineer for review <br />and acceptance. <br />20. Prior to the start of grading, all existing septic tanks or holding tanks shall be <br />removed or sealed, filled, and abandoned, pursuant to the requirements of <br />the Alameda County Department of Health Services. <br />21. Stormwater Design Requirements. The project shall comply with the <br />Alameda Countywide NPDES Permit #CA50029831, a copy of which is <br />available at the City offices. The following requirements shall be <br />incorporated into the project: <br />a. The project developer shall submit a final grading and drainage plan <br />prepared by a licensed civil engineer depicting all final grades and on- <br />site drainage control measures including bioswales. Irrigated <br />bioswales shall be redesigned as needed to the satisfaction of the City <br />25 <br />
