EXHIBIT A-2 <br />CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL <br />PCUP-233, Tom Kubo, William Wood Architects <br />Hana Japan Steak House <br />19911 Dublin Canyon Road <br />March 11, 2009 <br />The restaurant building shall be operated and maintained in substantial <br />conformance to the written narratives, Exhibit B, dated "Received February 17, <br />2009" on file with the Planning Division, except as modified by the following <br />conditions. Minor changes to the plans may be allowed subject to the approval <br />of the Director of Community Development if found to be in substantial <br />conformance to the approved exhibits. The applicant shall submit color samples <br />for the review and approval of the Director. <br />2. The hours of the restaurant shall adhere to the following: <br />Lunch: Monday — Friday: 11:30 a.m. — 2:00 p.m. <br />Dinner: Monday — Thursday: 5:00 p.m. — 10:00 p.m. <br />Friday: 5:00 p.m. — 11:00 p.m. <br />Saturday: 4:00 p.m. — 11:00 p.m. <br />Sunday: 4:00 p.m. — 9:30 p.m. <br />The restaurant operator shall obtain all necessary approvals from the <br />Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) prior to occupancy. <br />3. A full menu shall be available for patrons when alcohol is served. <br />4. Employees who serve alcohol shall undergo a training program such as TIPS <br />(Training for Intervention Procedures) that is designed to prevent intoxication, <br />underage drinking, and drunk driving. <br />5. No special promotions or advertising for beer and wine shall be allowed at the <br />facility or parking areas. <br />6. If operation of this use results in any adverse impacts result on the public health, <br />safety, and general welfare, at the discretion of the Director of Community <br />Development, this conditional use permit may be submitted to the Planning <br />Commission for its subsequent review at a public hearing. If necessary, the <br />Planning Commission may modify or add conditions of approval to mitigate such <br />impacts or may revoke the said conditional use permit approval. <br />{end) <br />
