PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC -2009-07 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE APPLICATION OF TOM KUBO/WILLIAM WOOD ARCHITECTS, HANA JAPAN, FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL AND CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT, AS FILED UNDER CASE PDR-804/PCUP-233 WHEREAS, Tom Kubo/William Wood Architects, Hana Japan, has filed for an application for Design Review approval to construct an approximately 6,000 -square -foot building at 11991 Dublin Canyon Road for Hana Japan Steak House, and for a Conditional Use Permit to serve alcoholic beverages after 10:00 p.m.; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is C -C and PUD -0 (Central Commercial and Planned Unit Development — Office) District; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission received and reviewed the Initial Study, dated January 30, 2009 and received the recommendation of staff; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 11, 2009, the Planning Commission received a proposed Negative Declaration for Case PDR-804/PCUP-233; and WHEREAS, the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable State and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that approval of the proposed project would not have any significant adverse effects on the site's wildlife. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Approves the Negative Declaration prepared for CASE PDR -804/ PCUP-233, the application of Tom Kubo/William Wood Architects, Hana Japan, has filed for an application for Design Review approval to construct an approximately 6,000 -square -foot building at 11991 Dublin Canyon Road for Hana Japan Steak House, and for a Conditional Use Permit to serve alcoholic beverages after 10:00 p.m.
