23. As part of the improvements for the project, the applicant shall install a two-inch <br />water service for the benefit of the Brozosky property. The service shall be <br />installed within the right-of-way as described in Condition No. 24 below. The <br />applicant shall purchase and install a % x 3/ standard permanent water meter for <br />this new water service, shall purchase and install a reduced pressure backflow <br />device, and pay for all applicable connection fees. The water meter and <br />backflow device shall be installed within the right-of-way east of Street "A" at the <br />time the water line is extended to the Brozosky site which shall be at the same <br />time that the applicant extends water service to either the Chrisman residence or <br />to the subdivided lots on the Chrisman property. The water line shall be installed <br />per the requirements of the City Engineer with a minimum of 30 inches of cover <br />below original grade. The Chrismans shall finance the construction of a two-inch <br />PVC water line within the Brozosky property and along the westerly property line <br />of the Brozosky site from the backflow device to a point of connection to the <br />existing Brozosky residence/to the existing pipeline from the well to the Brozosky <br />residence to ensure the ability to connect said temporary water line, if needed. <br />The exact location of the two-inch PVC water line shall be shown on the <br />improvement plans for the Final Map. The Chrismans shall: <br />• Provide the Brozoskys notice of their intent to proceed within a one-year <br />period from the date of the Final Map recordation. <br />• Coordinate that three bids be submitted to the City. The City shall <br />facilitate the choice of the contractor providing copies of the bids to both <br />the Chrismans and the Brozoskys. Bids shall be submitted 60.days before <br />the grading permit is issued. <br />• The Chrismans shall deposit 200 percent of the lowest bid to an escrow <br />account to construct the water line. <br />• If the actual cost of the water line exceeds the accepted bid, the <br />Chrismans shall be responsible for paying the increase in costs. <br />This condition supersedes Condition No. 124 of PUD -05 and Condition No. 23 of <br />City Council Resolution No. 03-105. <br />24. On the final map, the property owner shall dedicate the portion of land located <br />north of Parcel B, east of Street "A", as noted on Sheet 1, "Preliminary <br />Development Plan, Apperson Ridge", of Exhibit A, to the City of Pleasanton as <br />right-of-way to serve future development on the Brozosky site. <br />{end} <br />5 <br />
