CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />~ CALIFORNIA <br />!~ ALAMEDA COUNTY, <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 688 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING FOR 90 DAYS THE PROVISIONS OF <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 679 FOR CERTAIN PROPERTIES WITHIN THE <br /> MISSION PARK AREA AND FOR 30 DAYS THE PROVISIONS OF <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 658 FOR THE SO-CALLED "CREEKS BEND" <br /> PROPERTY <br /> <br />i~ THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />.,FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> The provisions of Ordinance No 679 as they relate to <br /> property shown on Zoning Unit Map No. 121, dated April 3, 1972, <br /> are hereby extended for a period of 90 days. <br /> <br /> II. <br /> <br /> The provisions of Ordinance No. 658 as they relate to <br /> <br />tl <br />i~property shown on Zoning Unit Map No. 121-A as being at the inter- <br /> <br />!isection of Division Street, the Del Valle Parkway and the Arroyo <br />t{Del Valle, dated April 3, 1972, on file with the City Clerk of the <br />iICity of Pleasanton and placing said properties in an "S" (Study) <br /> <br />~District are hereby extended for a period of 30 days. <br />I! <br /> <br /> III. <br /> <br /> This ordinance shall be published once within 15 days afte~ <br />~iits adoption in "THE TIMES", a newspaper of general circulation, <br />!ipublished in the City of Pleasanton, and shall be in force immedi- <br /> <br />ately upon its adoption as an urgency, interim zoning ordinance <br />i!pursuant to Section 65858 of the Government Code in order to insure <br />'~that pending completion of land use studies with respect thereto, i <br />i~ ' <br /> <br />~said properties will not develop. Said land use studies will deal,i <br /> <br />among other things, with density, traffic congestion and hazard <br /> <br />!iand availability of essential municipal services. The provisions <br /> <br />, of Section I of this ordinance shall expire 90 days from the <br />}!effective date hereof and those of Section II shall expire 30 days <br /> <br />i~from the effective date hereof unless either or both are extended <br />~lpursuant to Section 65858 of the Government Code or unless, prior <br /> <br /> <br />
