CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ~ CALIFORNIA !~ ALAMEDA COUNTY, ORDINANCE NO. 688 AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING FOR 90 DAYS THE PROVISIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 679 FOR CERTAIN PROPERTIES WITHIN THE MISSION PARK AREA AND FOR 30 DAYS THE PROVISIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 658 FOR THE SO-CALLED "CREEKS BEND" PROPERTY i~ THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS .,FOLLOWS: The provisions of Ordinance No 679 as they relate to property shown on Zoning Unit Map No. 121, dated April 3, 1972, are hereby extended for a period of 90 days. II. The provisions of Ordinance No. 658 as they relate to tl i~property shown on Zoning Unit Map No. 121-A as being at the inter- !isection of Division Street, the Del Valle Parkway and the Arroyo t{Del Valle, dated April 3, 1972, on file with the City Clerk of the iICity of Pleasanton and placing said properties in an "S" (Study) ~District are hereby extended for a period of 30 days. I! III. This ordinance shall be published once within 15 days afte~ ~iits adoption in "THE TIMES", a newspaper of general circulation, !ipublished in the City of Pleasanton, and shall be in force immedi- ately upon its adoption as an urgency, interim zoning ordinance i!pursuant to Section 65858 of the Government Code in order to insure '~that pending completion of land use studies with respect thereto, i i~ ' ~said properties will not develop. Said land use studies will deal,i among other things, with density, traffic congestion and hazard !iand availability of essential municipal services. The provisions , of Section I of this ordinance shall expire 90 days from the }!effective date hereof and those of Section II shall expire 30 days i~from the effective date hereof unless either or both are extended ~lpursuant to Section 65858 of the Government Code or unless, prior
