THE CITY OF <br /> ® CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLEASANTON. <br /> December 19, 2017 <br /> Finance <br /> TITLE: APPROVAL OF THE CITY PURCHASING PROCEDURES AND MANUAL <br /> SUMMARY <br /> In October 2016 the City Council approved a revised Purchasing Procedures Manual <br /> (2016 Manual) which establishes guidelines for assisting City employees with <br /> purchasing supplies and contracting for services. The proposed Purchasing Procedures <br /> and Manual (2017 Manual) addresses areas in the 2016 Manual that were either vague <br /> or not addressed. In addition, the proposed 2017 Manual includes reference to adhering <br /> to granting agency procurement requirements when using grant funds. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Approve the attached Draft Purchasing Procedures and Manual. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There is no financial impact associated with approving the proposed 2017 Manual. <br />
